well today is the hand over of power to the new chairman so repeat this. "I Boris Veers promise to up hold to constitution of the PLANTs and will rule the council with a open mind" Now the Speech Citizens of the PLANTs! Today we stand on the thresh hold to a new beginning. No longer will outside opinions affect the way that this government does its duty. As the new Supreme Council Chairman, I will be introducing a legislation to reorganize and categorize the PLANT Supreme Government, for the sake of better government administration. Mind you, this will not diminish any ZAFT affiliated nations' power. They will now merely be recognized as provincial states of the PLANTs. The leader of these states will have the power to have a completely autonomy in affairs that affect your state. This will allow us to appear more organized by separating the levels of government. Furthermore, to concrete this new provincial status, trade between sates will not effected by trade deficits, allowing free trade within the PLANTs. I would now like to discuss with you the state of the PLANTs security in these dark times. We must not allow ourselves to be threatened by organizations and nations like Blue Cosmos, OMNI or even ORB. Henceforth, I immediately issue a request from the Supreme Council for a complete cutoff of all non-ZAFT affiliated nations followed with an immediate banishment from the PLANTs. Though we must know, that not all Naturals are unworthy of trust, but the before mentioned organizations are beyond our forgiveness. And to ensure that our safety and independence are secure, the ZAFT militia will continue to operate under the Supreme Council and the National Defense Committee. Not the now provincial states of the PLANT member states. As I finish my address to you, Our Government as been scarred and deformed by the wars of hatred that have been split upon us. But I assure you, our resolve has never been stronger! So in order to maintain our continuing security and stability, the PLANTs will be recognized from this day forward as one nation, for safe and secure society! |
